Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Automotive Workshop Controller to lead our team of technicians and apprentices in a fast-paced, multi-franchise dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service in a timely manner
  • Manage the technical team, ensuring productivity and efficiency are maintained
  • Liaise with service front-line staff and assist the service manager in day-to-day operations
  • Monitor and schedule service and repair times, ensuring a high level of support to the service team
  • Develop the technical team to ensure a high degree of quality is achieved, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Follow set processes to complete work under warranty

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Workshop Controller or Foreman
  • Strong ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, calm demeanor, punctual, with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be a qualified technician
  • Ability to follow set processes and procedures
  • Unrestricted current driver's license
  • Good computer skills
