We are currently seeking a skilled media producer to create engaging audio content for our Russian language program. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality content.

About the Role:

About the Role

As a producer, you will be responsible for researching, developing and producing high-quality audio content on radio and online platforms. You will have a sound understanding of the Russian-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities.

You will work closely with our team to foster audience engagement on-air and online. Prior experience in journalism or broadcasting is highly regarded.

  • Develop and write engaging audio content for our Russian language program
  • Produce and present audio content on radio and/or online platforms
  • Translate audio content from English to Russian
  • Participate in language assessment tasks as part of our interview process

This is a casual position located in either our Sydney or Melbourne studios. The ideal candidate will reside within Melbourne or Sydney and have a strong proficiency in speaking and typing in Russian and English.

Requirements
  • A solid understanding of the Russian-speaking community in Australia
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms would be an advantage
