This role operates on a 7:7 roster with 12-hour days and nights.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to perform day-to-day mechanical maintenance of development drills and production drills at our operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure the reliability and availability of plant equipment by safely performing work to a high standard.
You will be required to work in all sections of the mine, prioritizing your tasks to meet operational requirements while maintaining a safe working environment. This includes adhering to site policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III in Heavy Duty Fitting or other relevant trade qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining underground production drills
- Dedication to quality work outcomes and teamwork
- A commitment to promoting a safe work environment
- An ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- A current 'C' Class Western Australian Driver's Licence
