Pharmacy Technician Role Overview

This role involves providing backup support to our pharmacy teams across various locations, covering staff leave or periods of increased demand.

When relief support is not required, you may be based at a designated pharmacy site.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing rotational coverage across multiple pharmacy sites to support dispensing, inventory management, medication preparation, and safe and effective medication services.
  • Assisting pharmacists and working across retail/community pharmacy and inpatient wards as needed.
  • Supporting travel between sites to cover sick leave, planned leave, and peak periods, with opportunities for extensive travel within the network.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy setting.
  • A current driver's licence and a roadworthy vehicle fit for purpose.
  • Ability to commit to a frequent travel role.
  • Permanent Australian working rights.
Desirable Traits and Experience

While not essential, having the following skills and qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience as a locum or reliever pharmacy technician.
