We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team in a fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in driving sales and KPIs, with a proven track record in fast-paced environments. They will be driven, possess a strategic mindset, and have the ability to think creatively and identify missed opportunities.

The role involves leading, inspiring, and coaching a team to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage. The successful candidate will also have experience with managing a roster and wage control, as well as being operationally excellent and experienced with stock control and visual merchandising.

In this exciting opportunity, you will work collaboratively with your Area Manager to identify areas of opportunity for your store and team in a high-profile space. You will also enjoy styling customers in the latest fashion and workout wear, and working amongst premium products alongside fellow passionate and dedicated professionals.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining efficient store operations to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage
  • Motivating the team to achieve optimal results in KPIs & added value targets across stores
  • Closely monitoring store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets - acknowledging outstanding results and identifying any areas of missed opportunity
  • Effectively managing the wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development by ensuring training and succession plans are in place
  • Ensuring efficient OH&S management and adhering to state and national OH&S legislation
