Job Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals to support the development of logistics strategies and plans for information, communications, quality, and resources that support high-profile Defence projects in Melbourne/Canberra.

This role will enable you to work on various projects, developing logistics strategies and plans. The successful candidates will be involved in analysing and implementing solutions to improve project efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have current or recent experience in ILS/logistics or inventory control on a Defence Acquisition or Sustainment project. They should also possess knowledge of methodology, systems, and procedures within the logistics management function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop logistics strategies and plans for information, communications, quality, and resources
  • Analyse and implement solutions to improve project efficiency
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current or recent experience in ILS/logistics or inventory control on a Defence Acquisition or Sustainment project
  • Knowledge of methodology, systems, and procedures within the logistics management function
  • Qualifications and professional development in Logistics and/or Technical equivalence
  • Security Clearance: Baseline minimum with willingness to upgrade to NV1
