Key Responsibilities:
  • Frame Assembly:
    • Screw/nail together timber frames and trusses according to instruction from the truss setter and standard operating procedures (SOP).
    • Stack trusses as per the stacking lists.
    • Assist with moving completed truss stacks to the dispatch area.
    • Maintain a tidy and clean workspace, empty bins when full.
    • Practice correct manual handling techniques when lifting and moving trusses.
    • Report any faulty tools or equipment to the team leader.
    • Assist with securing stacked packs for dispatch as required.
  • Forklift Operator - Day Shift:
    • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
    • Load and unload trucks.
    • Perform stock picking and packing tasks.
    • Maintain general housekeeping standards.
Candidate Requirements:
  • A valid lift truck (LF) license with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Experience handling loads up to 6m-8m wide.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work 38 hours per week with potential overtime.
