Peakline Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Automotive Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of vehicle hoists.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of Vehicle Hoists: Assemble all components, lift and assemble with cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts. Level and fix to concrete using hammer drills and laser levels. Commission, perform safety checks, and certify.
- Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Conduct general structural checks, oil changes, safety mechanism checks, and hydraulic inspections.
- Repairs of Vehicle Hoists: Repair hydraulic hoses, hydraulic cylinders, lifting chains and cables, electrical switches, motors, and miscellaneous components. Replace bushings and mechanical parts.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling and climbing of ladders.
- Hydraulic Knowledge: Excellent understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Drivers License: Medium rigid truck license advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
- Basic Auto Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of voltage testing, continuity testing, and fault finding basic motor control circuits with relays and limit switches.
- Forklift Experience: Previous experience with forklifts.
- EWP Experience: Experience with elevated work platforms.
- General Construction or Fabrication Experience: Knowledge of hammer drills, levels, grinders, basic welding, and fabricating.
- Flexible Hours: Availability of flexible hours.
- Experience: More than 4 years of relevant work experience required.
- Working Rights: Working rights required for this role.
- Salary: Expected salary: $73,150 - $76,000 per year.
