About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Head of Manufacturing to join our team as part of our strategic growth plans. This is a unique opportunity to lead our manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, and ANZ service operations strategy to meet short, medium, and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, and ANZ service operations strategy
  • Lead and coach direct and indirect teams to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure devices are manufactured and serviced in accordance with time, quality, safety, and cost requirements
  • Manage the implementation of changes and new products into production
  • Work closely with the Research & Development team to ensure new products and design changes are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost, and process optimisation activities
Requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience in a broad-based manufacturing management role, ideally within the medical devices space
  • Strong commercial focus and the ability to manage up to Senior Management level
  • Experience with implementing NPI and transfer of technology
  • Working knowledge of ERP and related business systems implementation
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Lean principles
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
