We're looking for an experienced Test Manager to join our team at Transurban. This role will involve leading the testing team to ensure the quality of our ERP systems.

About the role
As a Test Manager - ERP, you'll be responsible for ensuring that only quality changes are deployed in our ERP systems. You'll lead a team of testers to design and deliver test automation projects, write test plans and summary reports, and develop a test practice with assessments and training plans.

Key responsibilities

  1. Lead consistent ERP platform testing across Finance, HCM, Procurement, Payroll and Tolling integrations
  2. Lead and deliver a test automation project to ensure our systems are regression tested on a quarterly basis
  3. Writing test plans and summary reports, ensuring our platform and delivery teams are well-resourced and flexible
  4. Design testing strategies, encourage automation, and develop a Test Practice with assessments and training plans
  5. Ensure the team is accountable for planning, designing, building, and testing ERP solutions, while continuously improving their skills
  6. Organise the team to efficiently handle workload and deliver on key initiatives
  7. Ensure testing highlights and mitigates key risks, defects, and performance gaps, producing high-quality ERP solutions
  8. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

Requirements

  • Tertiary education - Bachelor Computing /Engineering /Science /Technology or equivalent full-time industry experience
  • Proven experience managing development teams (both people and technical), including both internal and partner resources.
  • Strong Software testing background with expertise in various Testing Methodologies
  • Understanding of Finance, Procurement and HRIS platforms or similar technologies
  • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to navigate challenges to meet business needs
  • Experience with agile methodologies and ways of working
  • Familiarity with Workday and Selenium (Java or Jenkins) is highly valued but not essential.
  • Effective team player with a flexible, results-focused approach
