Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing veterinary care through examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. They will perform surgical and medical procedures, including dental extractions and euthanasia, conduct diagnostic testing, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate clinical records, and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert veterinary care to domestic cats and dogs.
  • Perform a range of surgical and medical procedures.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, including radiography and pathology.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Relevant veterinarian surgeon tertiary qualifications.
  • At least one year's experience in veterinary practice.
  • Registration as a veterinary surgeon in NSW.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

About This Role

This is a full-time Veterinary Surgeon position, primarily based at our Kemps Creek Veterinary Clinic. The successful candidate will work closely with our Inspectors & Animal Ambulance team, supporting animals that have been rescued or surrendered to us.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
