Job Overview:

CPC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering projects.

As a Mechanical Engineer at CPC Engineering, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and overseeing the coordination of mechanical engineering projects. You will guide and mentor the engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality mechanical designs and solutions in alignment with project objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop mechanical engineering deliverables, including package engineering, calculations, and plant design
* Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
* Coordinate designs and drafts people
* Review progress and schedule
* Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements

Requirements:

* Industry-related higher education degree
* Significant (> 15 years) minerals process plant design experience
* Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
* Engineering delivery experience
* Ability to work in a team environment, allocate work to others, and monitor progress

Desirable Skills and Abilities:

* High-level communication skills - written and verbal
* Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
* Ability to produce study estimates
* Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
* Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow-up
* Knowledge of databases and version control
* Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation
* Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of clients through business development
* Willingness to travel if required
