Commercial Space Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Dairy, Frozen & Convenience space planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating efficient planograms that optimize space and align with business principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging technical capabilities to deliver customer-centric, commercially, and operationally efficient planograms within set timelines.
  • Ensuring market, space, and customer insights inform space decisions.
  • Measuring and delivering improved Return on Space (ROS) by optimizing space effectively.
  • Collaborating with Category Merchandise teams to advise on space and range-related decisions.

This is an 18-month Fixed Term role that offers the opportunity for career development in a leading Australian retailer. Ideal candidates possess:

  • Proven experience in space planning, floor, shelf/planograms, or visual merchandising.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail or fast-paced FMCG environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, numeracy, and written skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with a focus on timeline delivery.
  • Familiarity with space planning tools like Spaceman, Apollo, or Blue Yonder.
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of product relationships within a store.
  • A proven track record of teamwork and independent work.
