Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator/Transport Planner.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy planning and scheduling. The successful candidate will support the Transport Manager in optimising load mix, routes, and freight delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transport or a similar field, with strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting appropriate load mix to maximise utilisation of equipment
  • Optimising choice of routes for efficient logistics management
  • Ensuring loads are planned for direct delivery where possible
  • Providing effective communication with external and internal customers
  • Maintaining scheduled services
  • Ensuring designated freight is loaded, dispatched and delivered within agreed timeframes
  • Investigating all instances of service failure, identifying and investigating root causes
  • Maintaining accurate Availability Reports
  • Ensuring loads are planned to adhere to regulatory restraints/regulations
  • Processing damage claims
  • Invoice Reconciliation/data entry
  • Dealer Administration
  • Administration duties as required
