Clinical Nurse Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse specialising in Breast Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals diagnosed with Breast Cancer and their families.
You will act as a key resource for promoting best practice in the provision of patient care through clinical improvement initiatives and service innovation.
Collaborating with oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals including community nurses is essential for success in this role.
Key QualificationsTo succeed in this position, you will require a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills within a clinical setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary, enabling you to work efficiently within a supported team and independently as required.
- Current registration with APHPRA as a Registered Nurse is a must.
- At least three (3) years' experience in Oncology and or surgical oncology is preferred.
- Completion of a Certified Breast Care nurse course such as McGrath or equivalent is highly valued.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills is essential for this role.
- Exceptional time management, clinical problem-solving, and organisational skills are also required.
