**Job Overview**

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support to individuals and their families.

Supporting and monitoring healthcare needs, assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and transportation, teaching life skills, including budgeting and paying bills, helping individuals access community facilities and participate in groups, adapting communication styles to meet individual needs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Experience working with mental health
  • A valid driver's license
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination

**Ideal Candidate Profile**

  • 1 year of experience as a support worker (preferred)
  • Australian driver's license (preferred)
  • First aid certification (preferred)
  • Working with children check (WWCC) (preferred)
  • NDIS worker's check (preferred)
  • CERT III or IV in individual support (preferred)

**Work Environment**

Must be willing to work in-person.
