Smile Solutions is a multidisciplinary dental practice located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia's national architectural heritage.

We are a leading provider of dental services, home to 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing chairside support to our Oral Health Therapists and General Dentists, maintaining infection control standards, and performing sterilization procedures and room changeovers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide chairside assistance for a wide range of treatments, including oral health therapy and general dentistry.
  • Maintain infection control standards, adhering to all relevant protocols and procedures.
  • Perform sterilization procedures and room changeovers, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • Prior dental assisting experience is preferred.
  • Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting (or commitment to completing).
  • Excellent infection control skills.
  • Knowledge of D4W is preferred but not essential.
  • A high level of initiative and motivation.
  • A drive to learn and flourish.
  • The ability to integrate into a large practice.
