Everyday Independence is a dynamic organisation dedicated to changing the game for people with disabilities. With over 40 hubs across Australia, we provide Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Supports, Early Childhood Supports and Habit Coaching.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Habit Coach to join our team of talented change-makers. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital part in enabling participants to develop greater independence and reach their full potential.

  • Support National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in Melbourne and surrounding areas.
  • Work at participants' homes or community locations, driving to sessions as needed.
  • Support participants across all ages and stages of life.

You will work under the guidance of a primary therapist, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination of care.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or studying Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year).
  • Be available minimum two days a week to support participants during afternoon routines (3:30pm - 6:30pm).
  • Be open to travel to regional/surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrate ability to follow instructions, emotional intelligence, empathy, and maintain clear focus on participant goals and outcomes.
  • Act professionally and follow established protocols.
  • Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work autonomously.
  • Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Passion for working within the disability sector and making a difference in people's lives.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Childrens Check.
