Procurement Partnering Opportunity

This is a unique chance to design and embed a high-impact procurement partnering model that supports business growth, store development, and national network investment. You will deliver tangible value while building a legacy of governance, supplier excellence, and commercial results.

  • Develop multi-year procurement and category strategies for store and warehouse fit-outs, signage, refrigeration, fixtures, and capital work services.
  • Lead complex sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations, and supplier contracting (e.g., AS4000).
  • Establish supplier governance models, scorecards, and compliance frameworks to manage project risks.
  • Ensure all procurement activity aligns with workplace health and safety regulations, building codes, and internal delegations.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in Property, Retail, Legal, Finance, Risk, and Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Cultivate a team of procurement partners supporting national development programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You are an accomplished procurement leader with deep experience in property, construction, and capital works categories. You bring:

  • Proven success delivering complex capital procurement programs within retail, infrastructure, logistics, or commercial environments.
  • A thorough understanding of construction contracts, project procurement, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management at the executive level.
  • A collaborative, hands-on style to lead transformation and supplier innovation.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle costing, workplace health and safety regulations, and large-scale fit-out and equipment procurement.
