About the Opportunity


We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager to join Metcash. This role involves proactive management of a lease portfolio consisting of head leases and subleases across industrial, retail, and commercial sites. The successful candidate will manage leases across WA, SA, NT, and Victoria regions.


In this Role



  • Ensure compliance of all contractual obligations, including payments, critical dates, and rent reviews.
  • Optimise net income performance by implementing cost management strategies.
  • Manage lease renewals and market rent reviews.
  • Develop and manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, leveraging existing networking contacts.
  • Identify and communicate competition activity to relevant steering committees.
  • Ensure lease documents are completed in line with business precedents and commercial guardrails.

You're Likely a Match If



  • Minimum 5 years property management experience, with experience in commercial, industrial, or retail leases highly regarded.
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Strong skills in general lease interpretation.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
  • Qualifications in Property, Estate Management, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Retail Leases Act.
