Our Team

Change Grow Live's multidisciplinary team is comprised of highly skilled and compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting service users in achieving their goals. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality clinical interventions and create a safe, supportive environment for individuals affected by substance misuse.

We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team in Coventry. In this role, you will undertake a range of responsibilities, including conducting assessments, developing recovery plans, and contributing to our Naloxone Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments for service users, identifying areas of need and ensuring appropriate referrals to primary or secondary healthcare services.
  • Deliver education, health promotion, and screening for blood-borne viruses (BBV), including Hepatitis B, pneumococcal, and flu vaccinations as required.
  • Contribute to our Naloxone Strategy by training staff and service users on its safe use and distribution.
  • Develop therapeutic alliances with service users, building effective partnerships to support their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate records and input client data to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to contractual requirements.

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with recent relevant experience and current PIN.
  • Relevant experience in drug and alcohol treatment is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Ability to assess and develop recovery plans for service users, producing written reports as needed.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Employ a professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude when interacting with service users and stakeholders.
