Chief Data Solutions Architect

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud-based data services, including Azure technology stack, and have experience with distributed computing engines, such as Spark and Databricks. They should also be proficient in tools like Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory and related tools
- Design and optimize data storage solutions (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Lake, Delta/Parquet)
- Enable advanced analytics use cases across large and complex datasets
- Support operational decision-making through reliable, high-quality data pipelines
- Lead and mentor other engineers, including code reviews and feedback on best practices
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally with leadership or mentoring exposure
- Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT solutions in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Experience with distributed computing engines (e.g. Spark, Databricks) and data modelling for performance
- Hands-on experience across tools such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Data Lake Storage, Visual Studio, and DevOps
- Deep understanding of cloud-based data services, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must hold (or be eligible to obtain) Baseline security clearance
