Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Trades Assistant to join our team in Rocklea. As a Trades Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople on relining projects and assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of relining projects, including site setup, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, including cleaning and servicing tasks.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Assist with the installation, repair, and inspection of relining systems.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a trades assistant role or similar position is preferred but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of relining projects and vacuum truck operations is an advantage.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
