
Manufacturing Operator Position

About the RoleThis position is for an experienced operator who can work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for operating machinery, producing goods, preparing and building loads, and ensuring all loads are quality inspected and tagged while prioritizing safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Unload goods and materials safely and accurately document receipt.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and follow company procedures.
- Produce manufactured goods according to specifications.
- Pick and pack sales orders as per order requirements and company procedures.
- Perform pre-start checks on plant, equipment, and machinery before use.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure a productive and safe worksite.
- Load vehicles safely within Safe Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
- Complete relevant documentation correctly and accurately.
- Be physically fit and able to operate machinery.
- Commit to safety and well-being of yourself and others.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
- Experience with Overhead Gantry Cranes is highly desirable.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
