About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic risk transformation program. This role is pivotal to the success of our projects and programs, and you will work closely with a Program Manager to support large-scale initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in capturing, validating, and controlling project scope
  • Helping to define, sequence, and estimate activities to develop and control project schedules
  • Supporting the planning and defining of quality metrics, performing quality assurance, and ensuring overall project quality
  • Ensuring teams are set up for success by monitoring and controlling work progress, planning, directing, and controlling project communications and information
  • Identifying, qualifying, planning responses for, and controlling project risks and issues
  • Engaging stakeholders and establishing governance forums to ensure project delivery

You will be guided by senior project professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to project management. Occasionally, you may also organize workshops, facilitate events, and support additional tasks like status reporting.

About You

We are looking for a rising star with relevant experience as a Project Manager, ready to take on new challenges. Ideally, you have worked alongside other program managers or under the supervision of seasoned professionals, and you know your way around structured project management methodologies and the systems development lifecycle. If you have a PRINCE2, PMBOK, or similar qualification, that's a big plus. A tertiary qualification in a management-related discipline or equivalent experience is also desirable.

Your communication, negotiation, and influence skills are top-notch, and you manage your time like a pro. You're a natural leader who thrives in teamwork and relationship building, bringing technical expertise in project management to the table. Your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are impressive, and you're always focused on achieving great outcomes.
