We are a lovely family seeking a supportive and caring home assistant to care for our two children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caring for an 11-month-old baby: feeding, bathing, putting down for naps, changing, engaging in age-appropriate activities.
- Taking the children to playgroup, park, and facilitating craft and play activities.
- Caring for a 3-year-old boy: being a friend, experiencing life together, bike riding, bush kindy, swimming, park adventures, gardening, singing, and dancing.
- Assisting with household tasks such as laundry, folding, and putting away clothes, vacuuming, tidying up indoors and outdoors, meal preparation, preparing snacks and afternoon tea, and making lunchboxes.
Requirements:
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Working with Children check.
- Driver's license and car.
- Child-related references.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to follow instructions and show initiative when needed.
Desirable: A native Spanish or French speaker to support language development for our children.
