Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake full-range building inspection duties, ensuring compliance with the Building Act and Regulations and Building Code of Australia.
  • Assess project documentation and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Assess modifications or performance variations to procedures and explore alternative resolutions.
  • Provide on-site direction when necessary.
  • Engage proactively in internal technical discussions, offering guidance and opinions on complex matters.
  • Maintain effective communication with other authorities and councils.
  • Support the Business Unit team as required in daily project management and assessment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have prior experience and possess the following skills:

  • Experience working on large, complex commercial projects.
  • Experience working in private industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Professional demeanor, friendly personality, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Reporting of observed hazards, incidents, and/or injuries.
  • Implementation of quality control procedures and adherence to auditing requirements.
  • Participation in procedure reviews and changes as a team member.
  • Identification and reporting of quality issues, with implementation of preventative actions.
