Job Title: Sustainability Climate Ag Smart Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive and coordinate our sustainability initiatives.
- Review evidence attesting to compliance with Standards and provide guidance to relevant colleagues.
- Support the implementation of certifications schemes with other entities.
- Continuously monitor and observe sustainability initiatives, certifications schemes, and relevant developments.
- Organize and develop relevant workshops and training to colleagues.
- Support in other sustainability projects when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the success of the site into the future.
- Coordinate the development of policies and procedures within the guidelines of a global company.
- Maintain sound experience in developing and maintaining policies and procedures within the guidelines of a global company.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management/Sustainability/Agriculture or similar degree.
- Solid analytical and organisational skills.
- Great communication and ability to build rapport with stakeholders (internal and external).
- Able to see the big picture and drive the success of the site into the future.
- Empathy for rural clients and knowledge of the different business drivers.
- Sound understanding of sustainability challenges in food and agricultural industries.
