About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Metallurgical Technician to join our dynamic team at Gauge Circuit, Canning Vale. As a Metallurgical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a range of routine test work within set guidelines and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample preparation – sorting, crushing, screening and pulverising
  • Performing a range of routine test work within set guidelines and processes
  • Operating general metallurgical equipment

Requirements

  • Commitment and flexibility to work on rostered shifts
  • Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15kgs
  • Maintain a high quality of work while meeting daily production targets
  • Comply with all site and Bureau Veritas QHSE policies
  • Previous experience in a metallurgical processing facility is highly desirable

Roster

  • Monday to Friday roster – Day (6.00am – 2.00pm) and Afternoon Shifts (1.30pm – 9.30pm)

Please note that as part of the recruitment process, you must be able to pass a medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.
