Our organization seeks a Provisional Psychologist to join our Psychology and Allied Health Services team in the Central and Far West region. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with Aboriginal young people, their families, and communities to provide holistic and culturally sound psychosocial health support.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic services to young people who offend, including those who sexually offend. Your expertise will also involve creating treatment plans to support the needs of young people, their families, and community, as well as assisting in the formulation and review of individual Risk - Needs - Responsivity based case plans.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake psychological assessment, intervention, and deliver therapeutic services or programs to young people who offend
- Create holistic treatment plans to support the needs of young people, their families and community
- Assist in the formulation and review of individual Risk - Needs - Responsivity based case plans for the management and supervision of young people on remand or sentenced to a custodial or community order
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology
- Current provisional or full registration (Clinical Psychology registrar) with the Psychology Board of Australia
- A current Drivers' Licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW
- Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
