Job Summary:

This role involves working with our experienced project team to prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. As a Senior Project Planner, you will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements.

This position requires a strong understanding of project scheduling, including the development, control, and analysis of schedules. You will be instrumental in ensuring our projects stay on track and meet their timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, incorporating multiple discipline areas and specialty requirements.
  • Perform schedule monitoring, identifying critical activities and updating functions as necessary.
  • Assist with the maintenance of critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metrics.
  • Evaluate and validate subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and address scheduling issues, developing effective recovery plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or construction management.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera and Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate-level knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
