Job Title

A key role has become available in our Reintegration Services team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our programs and services, ensuring successful reintegration of prisoners into society.

  • Overview:
  • This is an ongoing full-time opportunity that requires the ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs to meet the needs of prisoners and the prison environment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of staff, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring cohesive service delivery.

About the Role

  • Supervise the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services to support prisoner personal development and reduce recidivism.
  • Lead a team of Reintegration Services staff, providing ongoing training, support, and performance management.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program planning and development: Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of prisoners and the prison environment.
  • Team leadership: Supervise and lead a team of Reintegration Services staff, ensuring ongoing training, support, and performance management.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.

About You

  • Demonstrated understanding of transition and reintegration issues and needs of prisoners.
  • Knowledge of limitations imposed on program delivery within a correctional environment.
  • Experience in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline (desirable).
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in human services, welfare practice, or related fields (highly regarded).
