Maternity healthcare is an area of medicine where midwives and nurses work together to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. The role of a midwife or nurse in this context involves providing antenatal and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
About the Position- We are seeking dedicated professionals with current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife. They must have experience across the full maternity spectrum including antenatal, postnatal, labour, and special care.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Midwifery (or equivalent) and demonstrate collaborative, adaptable, and values-driven professional skills. Key responsibilities include delivering hands-on support in labour and birth, caring for babies requiring additional monitoring in the special care unit, and supporting patients across the broader women's and children's ward.
Further Details- This position requires practice in accordance with current clinical policies, procedures, and professional standards. Promoting continuity of care and accurate clinical documentation are also essential.
