About the Role

Axiom Technologies is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to our end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2/3 desktop support for Windows 10 or 11, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Intune, cloud, and thick build machines.
  • Administer and maintain Windows App and Update release information.
  • Support Web applications for Edge or Chrome, as well as Cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with app owners to resolve issues and provide support for 3rd party applications like Microsoft, Java, and Adobe.
  • Troubleshoot MS Teams issues, including video, audio, and performance.
  • Familiarize yourself with AppV applications, MS Store Apps, and packaged applications.
  • Identify and resolve general performance issues and laptop hardware problems.
  • Manage Office license and troubleshoot issues related to native laptop or cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with the MS Outlook app owner to resolve issues.
  • Have knowledge of Active Directory and Group policies, as well as PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to coordinate with technical groups and resolve issues remotely.
  • Fix and troubleshoot application issues deployed on end-user systems.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues affecting applications.
  • Knowledge of browser support and management of Chrome and Edge via GPO.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Adobe, MS Office, Oracle, Edge, and Chrome apps.
  • Understanding of ITIL concept and ticketing tool.
  • Accurately document all work performed through the ticketing system.

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Apple OS, and SCCM.
Qualifications
  • At least two of the following: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
