Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Designer to join our team

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing landscape plans, constructing and maintaining gardens, turf, planting, retaining walls, paving, and irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement landscape plans and site drawings
  • Construct and maintain gardens, turf, planting, retaining walls, paving, and irrigation systems
  • Operate machinery such as excavators, trenchers, and compactors
  • Maintain OH&S compliance and high standards of site safety
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage project timelines, quality control, and material logistics
  • Provide direction and support to apprentices and junior team members

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience in landscaping or a related trade
  • Trade qualification in landscaping, horticulture, construction, tiling or similar (Cert III preferred)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read site plans and work independently
  • Experience operating landscaping machinery
  • Strong understanding of how a landscaping business operates and willingness to grow with the company
