Aircraft Structures Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the maintenance and modification of aircraft structures adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and alteration of aircraft structures
  • Leadership and direction as necessary
  • Implementation of Quality Control activities
  • Completion of assigned tasks through various activities that apply training provided in accordance with documentation
  • Enhancement of team performance
  • Guarantee that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in maintenance documentation
  • Promotion of a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Collaboration with design and airworthiness management organisations in relation to repair design and incorporation
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aeronautical Engineering (Structures)
  • Demonstration of an understanding of Quality Assurance procedures
  • Hold or obtain Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1
  • Compliance with security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Exhibition of a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • Hold a C class driver's license
