About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Unit Logistics Officer to join our Catering Unit team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the daily inventory levels of domestic and international airline equipment, ensuring the facility has sufficient stock to cater for our daily demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels of airline equipment
- Engaging in logistic communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Receiving and processing food and non-food items
- Ensuring HACCP compliance on all food receipts
- Ordering airline equipment and maintaining operational stock control
- Filling out and submitting relevant Customs Documentation
- Assisting with monthly stocktake and regular compliance audits
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of 3PL logistics, manufacturing production processes, and warehouse management
- Sound knowledge of the airline industry beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Current Forklift license essential
- Excel and JDE or similar ERP experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
