About the Role

RUC Cementation Mining Contractors Pty Ltd currently has an opportunity for trade-qualified Electricians and Electrical Supervisors to join our team.

The roster will be 8 shifts on and 6 shifts off (Dayshift), with Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) transport, accommodation, and messing supplied.

  • Complete monthly scheduled statutory requirements.
  • Installation of U/G reticulation.
  • Breakdown/Maintenance of U/G drilling equipment.
  • Installation of RCT tele remote systems.
  • Installation of underground communication systems and updating drawings.
  • Maintenance and breakdown repairs to electrical plant U/G.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Ensure statutory documentation is completed daily.
  • Ensure electrical testing is completed and recorded to comply with electrical standards.
  • Update of Single line drawings, asset registers, and installation tasks prior to the end of shift.
  • Complete an updated handover to the crossover shift.

Tickets and Licences Required:

  • Certificate III in Electrical Technology.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Able to provide National Police Clearance (within 6 months of commencement).
  • Working Safely at Heights.
  • Current High Voltage switching Licence.
  • LVR/CPR.
  • Current High Voltage switching certificate.
  • WAE200 Nominee Course desirable.
