Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our transactional services team and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions on a permanent full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional services, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience leading and developing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day AP, AR, and treasury operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing.
  • Manage daily cash flow requirements, including oversight of collections, supplier payments, and banking activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, delegations of authority, and external reporting/taxation obligations.
  • Oversee reconciliations, aged debtors and creditors reporting, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Provide accurate and timely transactional data to support financial reporting and forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards).
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in managing transactional finance teams in a mid to high volume transactional environment.
  • Prior experience working within Not-for-Profit or community services sector including knowledge of prudential compliance requirements under the Aged Care Act.
