Infosys Global Markets represents our client-facing teams, including Sales, Client Services, Practice Sales, Alliances, and Marketing. As the first interface for clients, prospects, and influencers, we drive business growth through proactive pursuit and strategic account management.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for developing technical solutions and client interfaces related to CIS-led Infrastructure pursuits. You will work closely with Vertical Engagement Managers to pursue targeted accounts and ensure optimal customer solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Farm existing accounts and open new ones.
  • Lead Technical development of CIS-led Infrastructure solutions.
  • Create value and differentiated solutions for customers in response to Infrastructure RFIs/RFPs and proactive pursuits.
  • Represent Cloud and Infrastructure services solutions as a technical advisor to customers.
  • Perform client presentations, due diligence, and transition activities in new infrastructure engagements.
  • Translate business and system needs into technical system solutions.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert guiding technical teams on solution elements of a pursuit.
  • Assemble required resources/skills to develop technical proposals.
  • Assist in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Management, Operations, or Technology Consulting as a Cloud and Infrastructure sales person.
  • Broad infrastructure experience, with subject matter expertise in one or more areas (e.g., Networking, Datacentre design, Storage).
  • In-depth understanding of various Infrastructure technologies and ability to articulate key tenets.
  • Excellent understanding of Infrastructure project management practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Infrastructure/Datacentre outsourcing industry, landscape, key issues, and strategies of major technology players.
  • Detailed understanding of client/infrastructure business processes and domain/technology perspective.
  • Broad expertise in core Infrastructure technology areas (Systems management/Operations/Database Management/Network Management, Datacentre, converged systems).
  • Significant experience in technical solution development of complex outsourcing Infrastructure engagements.
  • Experience interacting at VP Infrastructure, CTO, and CIO levels.
