Caregiver for Independent Seniors

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide exceptional care and support to seniors living independently in our community.

About the Role

In this rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Offer one-on-one assistance and help with social outings, shopping, and domestic tasks.
  • Enhance seniors' quality of life by fostering belonging and fulfillment through meaningful interactions.
  • Support daily living activities, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care needs.
  • Assist with respite care and help clients attend appointments and outings, promoting their independence.

The successful candidate will have flexibility to travel to different client locations, a Full NSW Driver's License, and comprehensive car insurance. A minimum Certificate 3 in Disability or related field is desirable, along with a minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role working with people who are frail, aged, or have a disability.

A sound understanding of Work Health & Safety standards and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to operate well in a team and alone is also required. A current First Aid/CPR Certificate is an advantage, but not necessary as training and certification will be provided in-house.
