Role Overview

This role offers motivated engineering/construction management students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact on one of Canberra's transformative projects.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals, build valuable skills, and gain real-world insights in the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Get involved in diverse projects, gaining practical experience in areas like planning, support, and reporting.
  • Apply effective problem-solving techniques, work on real deliverables, and ensure quality outcomes for our clients.
  • Review design documents, support constructability, procure materials, and collaborate on maintenance improvements with engineering teams.
  • Assist in financial tracking, track product quality, and contribute to our commitment to Safety, Quality, and Environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • To be currently studying in an engineering field or building and construction management.
  • To be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting our team and community.
  • To be able to understand plans and specifications and ready to make meaningful contributions in a supportive environment.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$65,000 - AU$80,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

You'll also receive mentorship and support to help you succeed and grow, as well as flexible working hours around your academic requirements.
