Role Overview

WAVELENGTH is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs to address the unique needs of children and adolescents.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and relevant specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
