We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our renewable energy projects across Australia. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day project operations, including engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the renewables or construction industry. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is required, and project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and guiding the project team to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documentation and Company standards and procedures.
- Value and manage variations, liaising with client, contract administrator, and other relevant parties.
- Suggesting innovative and cost-effective methods and improvements to productivity and profitability.
- Ensuring project drawings and specifications are controlled and that obsolete copies are withdrawn.
- Assembling and controlling project personnel, instigating operational, functional, and management control processes to achieve objectives in accordance with Company policies and practices.
- Assuming responsibility for Safety, Industrial Relations, Environmental Management, and operation to quality accreditation standards for the project(s).
- Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment on-site.
