About Enforcement Law

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Enforcement Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ASIC's investigations of suspected misconduct, including obtaining enforcement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to preparing and conducting enforcement action, including civil litigation, criminal prosecution, and administrative action.
  • Contribute to the preparation and compilation of criminal, civil, and administrative briefs and provide support to any proceedings in State or Federal Courts.
  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary enforcement teams.

As an Enforcement Lawyer, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex legal issues, working closely with other teams within ASIC to achieve compliance and enforcement outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to participate in high-profile investigations and contribute to the development of policy and procedures related to enforcement activities.

Requirements:
  • Legal qualifications and a current practicing certificate.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be passionate about using your legal skills to make a positive difference for investors and consumers in the Australian financial system.
