We are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a crucial role in providing expert business services and tax solutions to clients.

This position suits an experienced professional eager to lead client engagements, provide strategic advice, and mentor junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts, operating budgets, and financial models.
  • Reviewing BAS, IAS, and FBT calculations and ensuring compliance.
  • Leading tax planning strategies, including structuring advice and Div 7A considerations.
  • Providing business advisory services.
  • Assisting in mentoring and training junior accountants, ensuring their professional development.
  • Ensuring compliance to relevant tax legislation and standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build client relationships.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention.
