Job Title: Senior Linux/Unix Infrastructure Expert

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in managing midrange Unix infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical leadership to application teams. As a Senior UNIX/Linux Infrastructure Expert, you'll play a vital role in advancing troubleshooting capabilities, introducing efficiency and innovation, and reducing technical debt in our midrange infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement infrastructure improvements, patching, and upgrades.
  • Evaluate and support ISM compliant secure midrange Unix infrastructure platforms.
  • Participate in incident response and problem management activities, providing expertise and guidance to resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Support security monitoring and implementing improvements.
  • Coach and mentor junior infrastructure engineers, fostering their professional development and technical growth.
  • Understand business continuity requirements and plan and build solutions to support that.
  • Support formal change management processes.
