Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our APAC Minerals & Metals team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain mechanical designs and drawings for mining and minerals processing projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and commercial requirements.
  • Apply your knowledge of discipline technology and other discipline requirements to ensure designs are accurate and effective.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent in design/drafting from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design drafting, preferably in the mining and minerals processing field.
  • Strong understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Competency in Microstation/Aecosim 2D and 3D Design tools.
  • Ability to work to a timeframe and deliver on budget.
  • Commitment to HSE and self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
