About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as an Early Years Specialist. In this role, you will work with families and children to provide early childhood intervention services, using evidence-informed best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver supports to families, using assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options.
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
  • Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Requirements
  • A degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
