Job Title: Disability Support Worker - Casual

About the Role:

We are seeking casual support workers to provide care and assistance to individuals living with disability in our Albury community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting people with varying levels of need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, shaving, and toileting
  • Provide active support for clients facing medical complexities, utilising de-escalation techniques
  • Monitor and document clients' changing needs while fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Demonstrated competency in basic technology usage on mobile and desktop platforms
  • A current First Aid Certificate, which includes HLTAID003 or HLTAID011, or willingness to obtain

Working Conditions:

  • Morning shifts, as early as 6am, and short notice to cover sick leave is required
  • Travel between clients and working short, split shifts may be necessary
